Welcome Back Britain

Published by Jennie Knight on

Well September has proved a turnaround month for us. The Brits are back. We have loved sharing our home with all the French, Belgians, Dutch and Americans who have visited us since we reopened, but we are, after all, British and, after 18 months without you, it’s so good to have our fellow countrymen back in the house.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to those of you who have braved passenger locator forms and pre-departure tests in order to visit the Somme Battlefields in the past couple of weeks. You have warmed our hearts.
The best of news is last night’s announcement that, from the 4th October, Britain is dropping the requirement for a pre-departure test so those of you who are thinking about visiting will no longer have to worry about testing positive and being prevented from returning home. John has become a dab hand at uploading documents to passenger locator forms for friends and customers alike, but the pre-departure test has been the main reason guests have given for delaying until the spring, and now it’s gone. We like to think all this means a flurry of visitors before the first flurry of snow.
WELCOME BACK BRITAIN
